Meet Amplify Tyee
🎶 A.M.P.L.I.F.Y. = Advancing Music Programs, Learning, and Inspiration For Youth
At Tyee Middle School, band, orchestra, choir, and theater offer students a community to grow, express themselves, and build confidence. However, ongoing district budget cuts leave a critical gap between basic school funding and the real cost of a high-quality music program: instrument care, music scores, guest lectures, event transportation, and more. Amplify Tyee is a parent-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting these programs and bridging this gap so every student can participate and shine.
To create a vibrant, inclusive music community where students explore, grow, and excel.
🎯 Goals Include
- Support student experiences through fundraising, performances, field trips, and volunteer coordination
- Offer financial support for instruments, costume attire, sheet music, supplies, guest lectures, and more
- Strengthen communication and partnerships between families and the music department
